I attended the funeral of a fellow physician whose life was taken viciously and far too soon. It made me stop and realize the gift of this life and remember that my purpose is to be of service, and to find meaning and joy in this life.
When transgressions or misunderstanding occur, ask yourself if the energy, anger and burden on your soul are worth it. Do these events really mean anything in the greater landscape of your life? Because if the the answer is ‘No’, then you need to let that sh*t go.
Your time is precious.
Your life is really not as long, or as promised, as you think. And even if it is, your energy is better spent on things that uplift your spirit.
I hope that I am of some comfort, meaning, service and worth to those I care for, work with and meet along this journey.
